The interior is a tad surprising. The soft leather seats and all the areas that were tangible were perfectly finished and looked as if they were for an expensive sports car. The steering wheel looks somewhat bulky but it suffices. Being a two seater, it has no back seat but comes with ample cargo space. The vehicle, unexpectedly, even has a couple of cupholders. Being a sports car, not much emphasis has been given to the entertainment part of the vehicle but enough is available to make long journeys sound.
The 3.5 lt. V6 engine that powers the 350 Z is capable of developing 306 hp. and 268 lb.-ft. of torque complemented with a dual inlet air-intake system, variable exhaust cam timing and a high compression ratio. The machine can be soused up to redline at 7500 rpm. A Five Speed Auto Transmission or a Six Speed Close Ratio Manual Transmission effectively transfers the generated to the large 19" rear wheels. The Z capable of accelerating from zero to sixty mph in just 5.5 secs.
One thing about the 350 Z is that it performs equally well on a race track and on city / highway roads making it both a fast and rugged & practical car as well. On the race track with its elevation changes, sharp turns and short straight-aways, the 350Z performed almost flawlessly. On the road, the automobile handles just as perfectly and gives a comfortable carefree driving or riding pleasure.
The mandatory dual-stage front airbags are available in all models, but active head restraints and electronic stability control are not available on all models except as optional add-ons. Electronic Stability Control System is standard on the more pricey Touring and Grand Touring models. Tire Pressure Monitoring System is typical equipment on all models.
The Nissan 350 Z Keychains are presented in just three varieties: the Teardrop, the Valet and the Steering Wheel. They are somewhat plain in design but are just as racy as the cars that they symbolize.
